Statement on the Passage of the Older Americans Act
The National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) commends Congress for passing the 16th reauthorization of the Older Americans Act (OAA). The programs authorized under the OAA, including adult day services and other home and community-based services (HCBS), help older Americans remain in their own homes and help them live longer, more independent lives.

NADSA Selects 2006 Board of Directors
The National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) recently selected 16 leaders in the adult day services field to serve as members of the association's board of directors.

NADSA Participates in Medicare Outreach
NADSA has been awarded a contract by the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a) as part of the Aging Services Network Community Assistance Campaign. The Campaign, comprised of other provider and advocacy agencies/associations, is working with the CMS, AoA and other federal, state and local agencies to educate and enroll Medicare beneficiaries in the most appropriate prescription drug plan. NADSA will work with its state associations and members to provide a total of 100 education events between November 15, 2005 and May 15, 2006.
