Sharing the Caring: Adult Day Care
This 18-minute promotional DVD demonstrates the therapeutic benefits of adult day services through testimonials of family caregivers, participants and staff. The format and length make it the perfect resource for presentations to community groups, potential clients, funders, discharge planners and other referral sources. Quote from the video: "We see our participants as people with abilities, not disabilities. We have a level of expectation that they can and do attain all of the time. Part of why that works is the motivation that they feel when they know that people care and people want them to succeed." Originally produced for National Council on the Aging by KUSM/Montana Public Television with support from Ross Laboratories. DVD.
