Presenters:
Nicole Haney is the owner of Papa’s Place Adult Day Care and Tustin House Senior Living in Michigan. She is a dedicated and compassionate senior care professional with extensive experience in healthcare administration, program development, and advocacy. She has a proven track record of leadership in various senior care settings, including adult day programs, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner committed to improving the quality of life for seniors and adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration.
Kelly Upchurch is the President and CEO of American Health Management/Horizon Adult Health Care with oversight of 13 adult day health care facilities in Kentucky. The company serves 2,500 participants in 92 counties and provides center services as well as in-home care. Prior to founding American Health Management/Horizon Adult health Care, Kelly served as the Director of Psychology, Somerset Health and Wellness where he was in charge of all aspects of the psychology department including contract negotiation, marketing, customer satisfaction, and program development. He also supervised the clinical staff as well as clerical personnel and coordinated services with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Kelly earned an MS in Clinical Psychology and BS degrees in Psychology and Corrections and Juvenile Justice from Eastern Kentucky University.
