Call for Proposals now open! The 2025 NADSA Conference will take place October 22-24, 2025 at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel in Chicago. The NADSA Conference brings together more than 400 Adult Day Services (ADS) professionals from across the nation for professional development, intensive training and networking opportunities.

We are seeking educational proposals for presentations addressing all levels of ADS expertise.
Suggested topics include but aren’t limited to:
- Center Operations & Management
- Focus: Overcoming challenges in staffing, HR, technology, legal compliance, nutritional requirements and transportation.
- Key Topics:
- Recruitment, training, and retention.
- Staff leadership support and career development.
- Leveraging technology for services and case management.
- Enhancing nutrition and dietary needs of your participants.
- Addressing legal and transportation issues.
- Center Marketing & Growth Strategies
- Focus: Building visibility and financial sustainability through partnerships, grants, and branding.
- Key Topics:
- Website/social media development.
- Promoting ADS through performance metrics.
- Grant writing/management and home care integration.
- Developing media relationships to increase awareness.
- Person-Centered Strategies
- Focus: Delivering innovative, inclusive, and diverse services tailored to clients’ unique needs.
- Key Topics:
- Enhancing programming with art, music, and alternative therapies.
- Addressing behavioral health, brain injuries, LGBTQ issues, and nutrition.
- Creative approaches like Montessori in ADS.
- Strengthening State and Local Relationships through Policy/Advocacy
- Focus: Building influence with legislators and stakeholders while advancing diversity and inclusion.
- Key Topics:
- Grassroots advocacy.
- Research-informed policy changes.
- Veterans’ funding opportunities.
- Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Chronic Disease Management
- Focus: Innovating care for clients with cognitive and chronic conditions while improving collaborations.
- Key Topics:
- Dementia model programs, research, and funding.
- Managing conditions like diabetes, wounds, and Parkinson’s.
- Avoiding hospital readmissions
- Addressing sundowning/agitation.
- Expanding Caregiver Services and Support
- Focus: Supporting family caregivers through tools, programs, and partnerships.
- Key Topics:
- Organizing caregiver support sessions in your center.
- Medicare’s role for caregiver support.
- Funding sources to support family caregiver programs.

- Presentation method: Educational presentation; Panel; Pre-Conference Workshop (3-hour requirement); Roundtable discussion; or Case Study

- A minimum of three session goals or learning objectives.
Proposals submitted without the above information will not be considered.

General Information for Speakers
NADSA is unable to provide airfare, hotel costs, or an honorarium for presenters. Presenters are required to pay the appropriate registration fee for speakers and be current NADSA members. In extraordinary circumstances, such as if you are from outside the ADS circle, email director@nadsa.org and the membership requirement may be waived. All NADSA presenters are required to identify/resolve in writing any/all potential conflicts of interest or commercial support that they have. All presentations, workshops and roundtable discussions must be educational in nature and not direct sales pitches for products or services.
Proposals received after February 17, 2025 will be considered on a space-available basis. The 2025 NADSA Conference Task Force will review all proposals and make the selection of speakers and topics based on the following criteria: overall quality and originality; continuing education applicability and appropriateness to this program. All who have submitted proposals that are accepted will be notified by email no later than March 17, 2025.
Accepted presentations must be submitted in PDF format by September 8, 2025 for inclusion in the conference app. Presenters are responsible for bringing your own laptop and handouts to the conference. If your laptop does not have an HDMI port, you will need to bring an adapter to connect with the projector for your session.
