Risk Less. Do More.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has launched a new Pan Respiratory Virus Public Education Campaign, also called “Risk Less. Do More.” The campaign is a national, integrated effort to increase awareness of, confidence in, and uptake of vaccines that reduce severe illness from flu, COVID-19 and the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) in at-risk populations. NADSA is one of several organizations participating in this program and will be providing members with materials and information to keep center staff, participants and family caregivers informed about the importance of being vaccinated.

This Thursday, November 21 from 12-1 pm EST, CDC and HHS along with the American Nurses Association, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Pharmacists Association, are hosting “Leading the Way to a Healthier Winter – a conversation for clinicians on flu, COVID-19 and RSV.” This is a great opportunity for healthcare providers from all backgrounds to get the latest data and recommendations and ask the experts questions on flu, COVID-19 and RSV. These videos feature seniors in them to help promote the importance of getting vaccinated.
