Pre-conference Intensives!

Get a leg up on this year’s NADSA conference by attending one or both pre-conference intensives! These three-hour intensives are a chance for attendees to hear in-depth insights from thought and practice leaders about the state of adult day. Innovation NOW is the way to move the ADS field into the future faster and stronger than ever.

In the morning pre-conference intensive, experts Sue Matthiesen from CARF International and Vincent Rome from the Centers on Disease Control National Center for Health Statistics, team up to dig deep into data that ADS providers can use to create innovative strategies and improve the quality of our services. Vincent will give an overview of results from the National Study of Long-Term Care Providers (NSLTCP), conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which will provide a “bird’s eye” view of the field. You’ll be engaged in hearing about ways to use these NSLTCP findings to help you promote your center, and plan and meet the needs of your participants. Sue will elaborate with business-forward details based on the long-term collaboration between NADSA, CARF and RKL Financial, including must-have tips that all ADS leaders need in order to strategically address their revenue challenges and implement innovative practices.

The afternoon intensive features Ginna Baik, Strategic Business Development at CDW Healthcare and Dr. David Rhew, Chief Medical Officer and Head of Healthcare and Fitness, Samsung Electronics America. This dynamic in-depth session will highlight the intersection of innovation, technology and adult day services.
