A Fall Trip to Charlotte is Just What You Need!

Meet colleagues from all over the U.S. who work in the Adult Day Services industry. Learn from classes and shared visits over coffee about things that work best to serve our participants at the NADSA National Conference, October 9 –11.

The programs include pre-conference intensive sessions about…

  • Using Facebook and social media
  • How ADS and other community-based models benefit participant outcomes
  • Gardening and horticulture as projects
  • Activities in ADS in general, including music, art, tai chi, and expressive therapies
  • Developing grassroots networks and volunteers
  • Transportation
  • Person-centered care
  • Legal issues of nonprofit facilities.

A full listing of programs may be found on the NADSA website.

There will also be recognition of outstanding programs (find the guidelines on the NADSA website and enter).

Also, exhibitors will bring some of the newest items designed for this population for you to review and consider.

The rates are extraordinarily reasonable, Charlotte is a terrific city, and it is relatively easy/inexpensive to book a flight in.

Having been to the national conference for several years, I can say that my program and I benefited far more than the cost of the conference.  Make it happen and you might just make a bigger difference!
