On behalf of the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that Tia Sauceda will be assuming the role of Executive Director at NADSA, effective August 1st. Tia currently serves on NADSA’s Board of Directors where she is the Education Committee Chair and Chair of the 2025 Conference Task Force as well as Senior Director of Services at Seniors Resource Centers (SRC) in Denver, CO where she has worked since 2015.
Tia brings over 25 years of Adult Day Services (ADS) experience to her new role with NADSA. Under Tia’s leadership at SRC, the services provided include specialized Adult Day Programs for individuals with dementia and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), Care Management, In-Home Care Services, and Chore Services. She supervised the launch of several innovative programs including a hospital transition program which improved post-discharge care coordination and resulted in program growth. Tia also managed the integration and acquisition of the Johnson Adult Day Program, expanding SRC’s service capacity.
Currently, she is a Steering Committee Member, Dementia Friendly Denver, Virtual Dementia Facilitator, and a Member, Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Advisory Committee. Previous external positions included HCBS Expert, Medicaid Provider Rate Review Advisory Committee, Caregiver Committee Member, Jefferson County Aging Well Project, and Steering Committee Member, Alzheimer’s Association Conference Planning Committee.
Tia earned a Certificate in Gerontology at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and studied Sociology with a concentration on Gerontology at the University of Northern Colorado.
We look forward to working with Tia as she leads NADSA through its adoption of the 2025-2028 Strategic Plan and her vision for the growth of Adult Day Services. We want to thank retiring NADSA Executive Director/CEO Donna Hale for her years of service and dedication. She will continue at NADSA through the end of the year in a supporting role with the 2025 NADSA Conference and membership recruitment and retention.
Sincerely,
Bill Zagorski
