The National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) is seeking to expand it’s current committees with at-large Members from our membership. Share your knowledge, experience and expertise while helping to shape NADSA’s future by participating on the Membership, Research, Marketing, Policy/Advocacy, and Education Committees and the Data Collection Task Force.

Serving on the Board
Service on the NADSA Board of Directors is a unique and vital leadership opportunity to help drive the decisions of our Association and shape the future of Adult Day Services (ADS). The opportunity to work with other leaders in NADSA allows you to be on the cutting edge of ADS and to be part of the decision-making process on the national level, driving the strategic goals for the organization. This is an exciting time to join the leadership of NADSA and help us map our ambitious future.
Board service also provides these unique opportunities: Provide leadership in shaping the direction of Adult Day Services nationally; Develop valuable skills in non-profit governance, program planning and strategic planning; and, Expand your network of professional contacts.
Expectations of Board Members:
- Ability to annually attend two (2) in person and at least four (4) teleconference Board meetings. One of the in-person meetings is in conjunction with the fall conference (locations vary) and the other is generally in the spring months. Note: covering travel and hotel expenses for Board meetings is the responsibility of each Board Director.
- Engage as a working member of two committees and dedicate 2-4 hours per month for committee or task force work.
- Willing to be involved in soliciting sponsorships/exhibitors and/or advertisers for the national conference.
- Board Directors typically serve for a term of three (3) years.
